Lead your people through turbulent times, from the conquests of Alexander the Great to the founding of the Roman Empire. In Imperator: Rome, all the glitz and hardships of building your own ancient empire await you. Rule your subjects, beware of traitors and remain faithful to the gods.

Powerful kings, resourceful generals and self-proclaimed gods have all left their mark on the ancient lands of the Mediterranean. For centuries, the closely knit coastal peoples tested their courage and valor in fierce battles with each other, and their cultural and political heritage became an integral part of Western civilization.
